BurrowedIn

I’m a community builder, problem solver and creative connector based in Campbell River, BC. I get involved in interesting things, find the people who can help make them happen, and figure out what comes next.

So... What Exactly Do I Do?

Honestly, that’s a pretty good question.

I’ve spent my career bouncing between theatre, entrepreneurs, Indigenous businesses, tech, community projects and a whole bunch of things in between.

And somewhere along the way, I realized there’s a common thread:

I really like connecting people.

The right person to the right opportunity.

The right business to the right resource.

The person with the big idea to the person who can help make it happen.

Sometimes I know the answer.

Sometimes I know who knows the answer.

And sometimes I just get curious and start digging. 😂

I guess that makes me a Community Connector.

Basically, I like getting burrowed in.

I ask questions. I make introductions. I find things. I brainstorm. I troubleshoot. I cheer people on. And occasionally I wander down a rabbit hole and come back with something useful.

I'm especially passionate about:

🌊 Helping entrepreneurs find the people, resources and opportunities they need.

🌊 Bringing people together and creating spaces where good things can happen.

🌊 Finding opportunities that might otherwise get missed.

🌊 Supporting Indigenous businesses and makers.

🌊 Championing local people who are doing cool things.

Because I don't think any of us are meant to figure everything out alone.

And really, that's what BurrowedIn is all about.

Getting curious. Getting involved. Seeing what happens.

What I'm Burrowed Into

My journey as a connector didn’t start overnight. It’s been shaped by the incredible people and experiences I’ve been lucky enough to be part of:

🔥 Pow Wow Pitch – I got to work alongside inspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs, hearing their stories and helping them take their businesses to new heights. There’s nothing like watching someone own their power and passion in a pitch!
🔥 Shopify – Working with Build Native showed me just how important it is to create space for Indigenous business owners. I loved being able to guide entrepreneurs, answer their questions, and help them build something truly sustainable.
🔥 RavenSong Soap & Candle – This team is pure magic. A woman-powered, Indigenous-led business where creativity flows, and every product carries a story. It’s been incredible to be part of something so intentional, community-driven, and, honestly, just so much fun.
🔥 Tidemark Theatre – Where creativity takes center stage! It’s incredible to be part of a team that brings bold ideas to life, creating unforgettable experiences for our community. The passion, innovation, and can-do spirit here are truly inspiring, making every day an exciting adventure in the arts!
